Meet one of our Adjunct Researchers, Dr. Paola Pasquali who has worked with CAS over the last few years. Dr. Paola Pasquali is an independent researcher based in China. Her research has looked at the Chinese presence in Ghana in the infrastructure domain, e-hailing platforms in Ghana, as well as migration governance in the European Union and in China. 

She was an adjunct professor in International Relations at Webster University Ghana and a research associate at China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Africa. She has also been a postdoctoral researcher at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) Paris, France. Paola obtained her doctoral degree in Law from Birkbeck School of Law, University of London, UK and holds BA and MRes degrees in International Relations from the University of Bologna, Italy.
